  • Fluid Requirement: Always thoroughly flush your CR-V's external transmission cooler lines and radiator core before firing up the new unit. Refill exclusively with genuine Honda ATF DW-1 fluid to ensure proper hydraulic line pressure and prevent clutch damage. Do not use generic multi-vehicle fluids.

  • Maintenance Recommendation: For a long-term, leak-free repair, it is highly advised to replace the output axle seals, torque converter input shaft seal, and the engine-side rear main seal while the transmission is detached.
